SHEFFIELD Tigers have made their second signing for the 2011 season after agreeing a new deal with Australian youngster Hugh Skidmore.

Skidmore has just returned to his home country after a successful second half to the 2010 campaign and he joins Josh Auty as a confirmed starter for next year.

He's paid tribute to the people who have worked alongside him to help his career and admits he is pleased to be back at Owlerton next March.

“Scott Smith has been brilliant for me, helping out in every possible,” said Skidmore. “Shaun Gibson has also been there and made it possible for me and I would like to thank everyone who has helped me throughout the 2010 season.

“Everyone knows who they are and I would like to thank the Sheffield management and my team-mates. I’m delighted to be back for the 2011 season.”
