SHEFFIELD TIGERS will be at full strength for tonight’s Grand Final 1st Leg with Ipswich at Owlerton (7.30).

And that means walking wounded Lasse Bjerre, Josh Bates and Josh Grajczonek will go to the tapes just 48-hours after crashing out of the semi-final at Glasgow.

Club bosses are urging fans to turn out in force to back the table-toppers who have enjoyed a stunning season.

Co-promoter Damien Bates said: “All three lads have spoken to us and are desperate to ride.

“They’re having physio today to ease things for tonight. They are all saying it’s one of the biggest meetings they’ll ever be involved in and they don’t want to miss it.

“But we have also emphasised we need them fit. We can’t have them taking any risks because they are so keen to ride, we need them to be able to do the job.

“It’s a measure of what the boys feel about our season that at no stage over the last 24 hours did they consider pulling out.

“Now it’s time for our talking to be done on the track and try to build a good first leg lead to take to Ipswich on Saturday.”
