SHEFFIELD reserve Jan Graversen is looking to pick up where he left off and play a starring role in their play-off semi-final with Glasgow at Owlerton tonight (Thursday, 7.30).

Graversen has been a key figure for the Window Centre Tigers in their run to the SGB Championship top spot.

He impressed once again on a hectic evening in a double header victory on home shale last week – and he wants to put in a similar display as they look to build up a healthy lead ahead of Tuesday’s second leg at Ashfield.

Said Graversen: “We’re at the business end of the season, so I just want to be at the top of my game and try to be as sharp as possible.

“I want to keep it going. I made some good starts in the double header which is the name of the game and makes things a lot easier.

“I’ve been winning a lot of races and scoring plenty of points which is what I want to keep doing, because we need everyone at their best in this part of the season.

“It’s been going well for me since I joined Sheffield, I’ve been enjoying myself and doing a good job. It’s been nice to come into a winning team and play my part, so I hope that can continue.”

A full feature with Graversen will be available to read in Thursday’s raceday programme, available trackside for just £3.
