SHEFFIELD boss Simon Stead says his side will need to be at their best as they head to Peterborough on Sunday (5pm).

The Window Centre Tigers got back to winning ways with a hard-fought home victory over Scunthorpe at Owlerton on Thursday.

They will now aim to add to their SGB Championship points tally on the road at the East of England Showground.

Stead believes they are more than capable of emerging with a result against a powerful Panthers’ side.

Said Stead: “We had a good win on Thursday, but we need to see a big improvement on what we did at Scunthorpe last weekend if we’re going to get anything on Sunday.

“We managed to get back on track with a solid win at home, but we need to take that forward to Sunday now in what we know will be a tougher meeting.

“We know we can win anywhere on our day, and Peterborough is a big, fast track not too dissimilar to our own which should suit our boys.”

Sheffield have drafted in James Shanes to guest for Jack Parkinson-Blackburn at reserve, whilst Peterborough include former Grand Prix star Chris Harris and ex-Tigers’ favourite Richard Hall in their side.

PETERBOROUGH: Chris Harris, Bradley Wilson-Dean, Paul Starke, Ulrich Ostergaard, Jack Holder, Richard Hall, Tom Bacon.
SHEFFIELD: Josh Grajczonek, Todd Kurtz, Lasse Bjerre, Josh Bates, Kyle Howarth, Robert Branford, James Shanes.
