SHEFFIELD boss Simon Stead says his side's away trips don't get any easier as they travel to Newcastle on Sunday (6.30) - but believes a win on the road is on its way!

The Window Centre Tigers have already lost on the road to Ipswich and Workington and have failed to gain any consolation league points in the process.

However, after a 61-30 thrashing of Berwick and an impressive 57-33 win over Ipswich at Owlerton, Stead is hoping his side can take some confidence from their performances at home.

"Newcastle is a tough place to go to as an away team and with the team they've got this year, it makes the task even more difficult," said Stead.

"Robert Lambert, Ludvig Lindgren, Stevie Worrall are all top performers at this level and the rest of their side isn't too shabby either!

"But our 1-7 is just as strong and while it's not been the best of starts away from home, I believe we are capable of picking up a result wherever we go.

"The lads are settling in as a group together now and I don't think a result on the road is too far away now."

Sheffield are back at full strength as Rob Branford returns at reserve while Josh Bates is also back following the birth of his son.

NEWCASTLE: Robert Lambert, Ashley Morris, Lewis Rose, Ludvig Lindgren, Steve Worrall, Connor Coles, Danny Phillips.

SHEFFIELD: Josh Grajczonek, Josh Bates, Lasse Bjerre, Todd Kurtz, Kyle Howarth, Rob Branford, Jack Parkinson-Blackburn.
