SHEFFIELD will look to continue their strong home form against a powerhouse Ipswich side at Owlerton on Thursday (7.30).

The Window Centre Tigers overcame top flight Somerset in their home opener before recording a crushing 61-30 win over Berwick last week.

They will now go in search of three more SGB Championship points in a mouthwatering clash with the Witches.

After slipping to a disappointing away defeat at Workington last weekend, team boss Simon Stead is desperate to see his side issue a response.

Said Stead: "It was a disappointing night for us on Saturday, so we'll need a vast improvement this week against Ipswich.

"We're desperate to keep our strong form at Owlerton going, but we'll need to be at our best to get three more points on the board.

"Ipswich will bring a strong side, but after losing out at their place in our first meeting of the year we'd love to turn them over in front of our home fans."

Sheffield have drafted in Edinburgh man Mark Riss to guest for Robert Branford at reserve after it was ruled SGB Premiership side Rye House have priority over his services.

Ipswich include British Champion Danny King, Aussie ace Rory Schlein plus former Tigers' man Nico Covatti in their highly-rated side.

A big turnout is expected for the first meeting of the Easter holidays, with free Easter Eggs on offer for the first 100 kids through the turnstiles.

SHEFFIELD: Josh Grajczonek, Josh Bates, Lasse Bjerre, Todd Kurtz, Kyle Howarth, Mark Riss, Jack Parkinson-Blackburn.

IPSWICH: Danny King, James Sarjeant, Nico Covatti, Cameron Heeps, Rory Schlein, Danyon Hume, Connor Mountain.
