SHEFFIELD Tigers have the answer for South Yorkshire parents wondering where to take the kids during the Easter holidays!

The club have announced free Easter eggs for the first 100 children coming through the turnstiles at Owlerton Stadium on Thursday night for their Championship clash with Ipswich.

And there’s an opportunity to get riders autographs and pictures at the pits after the meeting – so youngsters should bring their pens!

Tigers co-promoter Damien Bates said: “I know a lot of parents wonder what to do with the kids during school holidays, well how about a night at the speedway?

“I think many of us who love the sport were introduced to it by a member of our family and it’s a great way to spend the evening.

“We’re even offering free Easter eggs to the youngsters and the riders are very approachable – one minute they’re tearing around the track at 80mph with no brakes, the next minute they’re happy to pose for selfies and sign autographs.

“And I’m expecting a great night of racing on Thursday, Ipswich are a good side so we’ll see a good meeting.”
