SHEFFIELD have good and bad team news heading into tonight’s Championship clash at Workington (7pm).

Former Comets man Josh Grajczonek is back to lead the side from the No.1 spot after missing Thursday’s bumper win over Berwick with a hand injury.

But two riders have been ruled out. Lasse Bjerre suffered bad bruising in a track crash last night and Tigers will use the rider replacement facility to cover for him.

And Rob Branford has been called into Premiership Rye House for their meeting with Swindon – much to the anger of the Sheffield management – and ex-Sheffield man Richard Hall covers.

Co-promoter Damien Bates said: “The Branford situation is a sore point and I’d better leave it at that for now rather than risk getting into trouble.

“Lasse has bad bruising on his leg and backside – hopefully he won’t be out for too long.”

WORKINGTON: Craig Cook, Mason Campton, Ty Proctor, Adam Roynon, Thomas Jorgensen, Matt Williamson, Rob Shuttleworth.

SHEFFIELD: Josh Grajczonek, Josh Bates, Lasse Bjerre R/R, Todd Kurtz, Kyle Howarth, Richard Hall, Jack Parkinson-Blackburn.
