BRADY Kurtz, one of the most highly rated youngsters on the world stage, will race for Sheffield in tonight's Championship clash with Berwick at Owlerton (7.30).

Kurtz has been called in as a replacement for Josh Grajczonek who has suffered a hand injury.

The Poole rider is an Owlerton specialist and jumped at the chance to wear the Tigers colours again after regular appearances in 2015.

Tigers co-promoter Damien Bates said: "Brady is very popular here at Sheffield and we're pleased to have him back for tonight.

"That said, it's obviously a blow to lose Josh. He crashed out of Somerset's meeting at King's Lynn last night and has a problem with his hand.

"We should know more later today what the full extent of the injury is but naturally we are hoping it's nothing serious.

"Now we have to focus on getting the job done tonight with three points available for us.

"We had a great crowd last week and hopefully we'll see the same tonight to cheer the lads on."
