THE SHEFFIELD WINDOW CENTRE TIGERS will look to build on their fantastic win over Newcastle last night and slay Premier League leaders Somerset at the Oak Tree Arena this evening.

The Tigers denied Newcastle top spot with a 54-38 victory at Owlerton but face an even sterner test tonight when they take on a powerful Rebels side looking to maintain their position at the top.

Team boss David Hoggart, impressed with the team’s attitude on Thursday, is positive about his side’s chances; “We go well at Somerset, we could go down there and have a great one or we could get murdered because that’s the way we are.

“They’re always scared of us, they always try and start fast and come out and hit us hard because they know we’re a threat. It’s a track that rides very, very similar to Sheffield in the way it rides, it’s a full-gas track and that’s what we are used to.

“We will go there positive because we believe that we’ve got a chance, regardless of their position in the league. They have an excellent team but if we are all firing, we’ll give them a good go.”

Somerset: Jason Doyle, Alex Davies, Jesper Monberg, James Wright, Claus Vissing, Kyle Newman, Tom Perry.

Sheffield: Pepe Franc, Hugh Skidmore, Rider Replacement for Emiliano Sanchez, Richard Hall, Ricky Wells, Chris Schramm, Joe Haines
